Shilpa Shinde BLASTS Saumya Tandon For Denying Knowledge Of Her Sexual Harassment Ordeal
The Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai! co-stars are now feuding over whether Saumya knew about the now headline grabbing case of sexual harassment involving Shilpa and the show’s producer Sanjay Kohli
Shilpa Shinde and
her Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai! co-star Saumya Tandon are in the middle of a dramatic
turn of events which took place after Shilpa accused the show’s producer Binaifer Kohli’s husband Sanjay
Kohli of sexually harassing her.
Then in an
interview to SpotboyE.com, Shilpa claimed that she had confided in Saumya about Sanjay’s alleged inappropriate
behaviour including instances where he demanded sexual favours from her.

“I had shared my
discomfort with Saumya Tandon. I told her how Sanjay Kohli has been making
cheap comments like ‘you take care of me and will take care of you’. Two days
after that, Binaifer called me and fired me saying, “Why are you talking such
things? It will hardly take me 2 minutes to throw you of the show,”Shilpa had told us.
But Saumya Tandon
has denied all of Shilpa’s claims.
Saumya, who plays
Anita in the popular serial and has been part of the show for three years, told
a section of the media: “I strongly stand against any kind of sexual harassment
of women at work or any place. Having said that, there was absolutely no
communication between Shilpa and me about this. Personally, my interactions
with my producer has been very professional and I didn’t face any problem.”

When we contacted
Shilpa about Saumya’s rebuttal, she shot back with a text, lambasting her
former co-star for chickening out.
“I don’t need any
help from Saumya Tandon. Everyone knows exactly how she is. I am happy that I
got out of the ugly Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai team (sic),” read the text from
Shilpa.
Now, the big
question is whether Saumya’s denial will weaken Shilpa’s case or will Saumya be
grilled by the cops?
